• Healthplex was established in 1977 by dentists and other healthcare professionals who were concerned about the increasing costs of dental care.
• Healthplex provides dental benefits and administrative services for insurance companies, HMOs, school districts, labor unions, families, municipalities, welfare funds and businesses of all sizes.
• Healthplex is certified as a Credentials Verification Organization in ten out of ten credentialing elements by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Healthplex is the only stand alone dental company in the United States that has this distinction.
• Healthplex is a Utilization Review Agent. This insures that appropriate notification is given to members and providers regarding all benefit decisions.
• Healthplex is fully HIPAA compliant.
• Healthplex is over two million members strong and growing.
